Under crawl

It is always a difficult task to regulate the right temperature in the farrowing stable.

The piglets benefit from higher temperatures, but this is to the disadvantage of the sow, who has a better feed intake with a slightly lower temperature.

By using a piglet under crawl, the heat from a heat lamp or heated plate lingers longer. The room temperature can go down because of this, but the piglets can still enjoy a pleasant warmth.

These hoods are available in several versions and can be adjusted up or down both manually per piece, or automatically per room. They can also be executed with or without a hole for a heat lamp.
